COSMETIC DESIGN AWARDS - CODA

1st international competition CODA make up art 
final passed on trade fair Beauty Styl 
in PVA Letňany Prague. Participants competed 
for 100.000 CZK which organizer Terinvest, spol. s r.o. donated and the atmosphere was very tensed up. 
The guarantee of the competition was the Surface Professional Make Up School that organized 
and supervised the running and evaluation of the competition. “Surface is the leading school 
in the branch of make up and our lectors are the best professionals on the Czech market” completed Markéta Angerová, moderator of the show and co-owner 
of the Surface Make Up School. In the commitee 
there were Veronika Dědková - notable Czech Make Up professional, Petr Lukeš – Association of Make Up Professionals and Stylists president, 
Kája Pavlíček – Czech stylist, Jana Doleželová – Miss 2004 and Surface Face and as the guest of honor Irma Manjgaladze – Georgian designer who the original 
jewellery made. The make up technique was evaluated 
but also the tout ensemble and model presentation 
were evaluated. 

Candy and Barbie was the theme of the competition. 
The make up professionals made interesting creations 
and from the semifinal 12 the best 6 were chosen who 
went to the Saturday final. The winner and the owner 
of the 100.000 CZK cheque became Jana Hrdinová. 
The cheque undertook Ing. Jiří Šviga the General 
Manager of Terinvest, spol. s r.o. On the second place 
was Tomáš Vida and the third place – Jitka Novotná. 
The committee also gave “Divoká karta (Crazy Card)” 
to Michal Marek who is very bid talent but has not 

the technique to be the best. He became the courses 

form Surface and Association of Make Up Professionals 
and Stylists for improving the technique. Congratulation 
goes to all finalists and we wish them many success 
and happiness.

On the trade fair Beauty Styl there was held 
competition CODA 2009 in the category Nail Art 3D 
and 2D decoration. The competition passed 
in two rounds. 
On Friday the 9th October the imposition round 
passed and the committee chose the best 16 
for the final Saturday round. The finalists 
of the competition competed for 100.000 CZKI
in both categories. 

In the committee there were: 
Stanislava Langmajerová, Viktorie Spáčilová, 
Lilie Michaliková, Veronika Vitkouska, 
Nikoleta Baloghová, and as a guest Monika Kubíčková.

The Partners of the competition were: Q-nails, EzFlow, 
Tasha and She- Nails. 

In the category 3D decoration on the 3rd place 
was Oksana Burešová, on the 2nd place 
Olga Perezmigina and the winner and holder 
of the 50.000 CZK cheque became Renata Černá. 
In the category 2D decoration the winner sequence 
was 3rd place Monika Prná, 2nd place Jana Demensiay 
and the 1st place and 50.000 CZK cheque went 
for Denisa Duksová Pýchová.

of CODA – Cosmetic Design Award.
